Your responsibilities
As an application engineer, you will work at the interface between software development, image processing and robotics. You will develop practical solutions and incorporate innovative technologies directly into customer projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Development and implementation of demo applications in the field of image processing and robotics
- Software development with a focus on object-oriented programming
- Design and technical implementation of customer-specific projects
- Integration and implementation of our solutions at the customer's site
- Support with testing, optimisation and further development of existing applications
- Close cooperation with development, sales and project management
Depending on the project, part of the work may take place at the customer's premises (service assignments for integration and commissioning).
Your qualification
- Completed degree in computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
- Initial practical experience in object-oriented programming (e.g. C++, C#, Python or Java)
- Technical understanding in the field of automation, robotics or image processing
- Independent and structured approach to work
- Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of implementing solutions in practice
- Willingness to travel for occasional customer assignments
Nice to have
- Experience with industrial camera systems or image processing libraries
- Knowledge of robotics systems or industrial automation
- Experience in implementing technical customer projects
- Fundamentals of CAD or mechanical design

Your responsibilities
We are looking for a committed and highly organised assistant (m/f/d) to support the management team. The position involves a wide range of administrative, organisational and sales-related tasks and acts as a central interface between management, customers and projects. The duties include preparing and processing research applications and independently managing projects and customers. Strong communication skills, confidence in using common Office applications and flexibility round off the profile
Due to the nature of the work, it can only be done on site. This position is not remote. If you do not currently reside in Würzburg or the surrounding area but are planning to relocate, please indicate this in your application.
